Featured Artyst: JC $anchez

My name is Julio Sanchez. I go by JC "Cesar" is my middle name. I'm 18 years old, and my intentions from the start of my music career have been very clear, it's to become this decades first music stunt grenade. I have had the determination to succeed no matter what's said or done to my career. Expectations for my music is something I ignore so I may go through the day with more ease. Honest criticism is something I can take, and an opinion about my music which comes across "rude, and disrespectful" is something stated without having a open mind. So therefore I ignore it. Born and raised in Reedley, Ca located in the Central Valley (559). There isn't many music artist out there from my region to look up to, and to be fair there is no artist from my area that has made it (without) a label. I'm simply the first, and with the help of "Artyst" I hope not to be the last.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

Kanye West, Eminem, 2Pac, Will Smith, Jay-Z

What inspires you to create music?

Making music I realize is a bigger part of my life more than I expected it to be. Writing, and being lyrical really just test me to see how much I know. Making a beat really shows how far I'm willing to dream about a perfect world. (lol and one wrong note will destroy that world). And with that comes patience, something a lot of artist need to learn how to master.

What else do you do your artists do outside of music?

I work 3 jobs (Little Caesars Employee, Yard Maintenance, & Cutco Representative)

I schedule everything I do, and I work hard on what needs to be done properly

"And get that fake gangster persona away from me"- JC $anchez

I tend to work more with realistic artist who have real motives.

What's been your biggest success so far in the music industry? What are you most proud of?

My first single titled "This Artist" in just one month hit 30,000 streams on Spotify. Was placed into 8 playlist, also was promoted by the "Artyst" app themselves, It's gained many ears, and it's brought me many benefits with major contacts I didn't expect to have this early in my career.

What made you excited to get involved with the Artyst app?

The connection I have with Artist around the world is a really big deal. And it also gives me the mentality to help others and just doing what makes me happy.

What kind of collabs are you looking for on the Artyst app?

Rappers with the mentality of getting out of their comfort zone. A rapper whose willing to get on any type of beat is a rapper hungry to succeed.

What's your vision for the future? Where are you headed as an artist?

My vision of the future is being the best version of myself presented to the whole world. As an artist I'm heading into the highway of the game on my own lane. With nobody in my way or pressuring me to move in a faster pace. The lane I'm on was paved by me obviously meaning nobody else will ever touch it.

What's next for you? Any upcoming projects we should know about?

My debut album in 2021 will be the destruction, and rebirth of everything you heard in the past decades. It'll bring back old feels of rap while embracing the new flows of today. As an artist sets up a debut album you'd expect them to just have song with only themselves on the project. "My humbleness is eternally free" as stated in my debut single proves that I have way more artist on this debut album than I should have. I want the spotlight on those who deserve it, my name will be on the cover of every song but with more artist helping me the stronger i grow mentally, and creatively.

Anything else?

I don't charge to be a feature on anybody's project.
